During that time Regensburg also established an exclusive private practice specializing in art psychotherapy and hypnosis for children and their families, individuals and couples. He also provides supervision, training and consultation to clinical professionals.
Mr. Regensburg’s artwork has been featured in galleries across the country and is included in many private and corporate collections. It includes paintings of ethereal skyscapes and life-sized sculpture that reinterprets totemic themes. His work has been said to evoke a meditative response that moves the viewer from a state of fragmentation, anger and fear to a gentle, more integrated state of well being. His work, which he calls “Memories of the Future” reflects the evolution of the human family from its current circumstances to an emerging integrated global consciousness.
Regensburg is also a noted lecturer and workshop leader. From 1984 – 1994 he served as Adjunct Professor of Art Therapy in the graduate Art Therapy program he co-designed at Long Island University. He has been sought out by many organizations for his consultant services including the New York State Office of Mental Health, Long Island Association for Aids Care, Pall Medical Corporation of America and others.
As the Executive Director of North Shore Creative Rehabilitation Center (aka Sara’s Center) , a not for profit human service organization that utilizes creative arts therapies and a variety of alternative technologies for healing, growth and rehabilitation, Regensburg brought his extensive experience as a practicing artist and his understanding of the creative process to demonstrate the powerful way art and imagery heals and relates to the dimensions of human consciousness.

Since 2001 his Universal Insights™ Research Program has offered his visionary services to assist clients in the Marketing and Advertising industry in developing creative “out of the box” solutions. With creativity unleashed the potential outcomes are unlimited. Some past clients include JWT, USA, Draft FCB, Galileo Marketing and Research and others.
Ed Regensburg has established his reputation as a pioneer in clinical art psychotherapy and as a leader in alternative approaches in conceptualizing mental health services and psychological market research.
